Moscow, 14 May. The Russian Regional Development Bank announces a promotional action for RRDB cardholders. The bank’s customers will be able to use the service SMS-Informing for two months free of charge.
In order to do so, the service SMS-Informing needs to activated through any RRDB ATM from 14 May to 14 July 2010. This service will be provided free of charge for two months from the day of its activation.
It is also possible to decline the service SMS-informing using RRDB ATMs. Once the free introductory period is over, the service SMS-Informing will be provided under the bank’s applicable rates.
SMS-Informing allows bank customers to receive mini-statements about their bank card operations as well as their account balance. This automatic SMS notification is sent for payments made to customers’ accounts or when money is withdrawn from an ATM in Russia and abroad, for card payments for goods or services in stores, petrol stations, restaurants, hotels and other service enterprises. SMS notifications are also sent to customers when there are insufficient funds for an ongoing card transaction or when a wrong PIN code is used.
Many customers already appreciate the advantages of RRDB services such as simplicity of use, possibility of planning and monitoring expenses, of requesting balance and mini-statements on-line, as well as possibility of emergency card blocking.
