Moscow, 25 March. The Russian Regional Development Bank changed its interest rates for individual deposits in rubles. The rates were adjusted in all the regions where RRDB has offices and were decreased by 0.9 per cent on average. The rates of deposits in rubles were adjusted in accordance with market trends and the recommendations made to all credit institutions by the Bank of Russia. Customers, who opened their deposits in rubles before 25 March 2010, will keep the same interest rates as per the terms and conditions of the agreements they signed. The interest rates for deposits in foreign currency remained unchanged. The decreased rates for deposits in rubles will shortly affect other credit products for individuals as the Bank also plans to decrease the rates of these products shortly. |
