Moscow, 25 January. The Russian Regional Development Bank has launched its service offering to pay utilities using ATMs in Usinsk. All RRDB ATMs in this town provide a special service allowing bank cardholders to directly pay for their electricity, water rates, heating bills, television, internet, as well as telephone bills. Utility bills can be paid using the Russian Regional Development Bank’s ATMs with bank cards issued by RRDB, as well as with cards issued by other banks. In both cases, no commissions are charged. Now, to pay utility bills the holders of any bank cards only have to spend two minutes by an RRDB ATM and no longer lose time queuing in credit institutions. RRDB ATMs work round the clock and payments are promptly transferred and recorded in the accounts of public utilities providers. Paying utility services via RRDB ATMs used to be possible in Moscow only. Usinsk is the first region where RRDB will provide this service to utilities companies. The next step will be to expand the provision of this service to other regions, where RRDB ATMs are in place. Today, RRDB counts over 450 ATMs and 1,000 POS-terminals. RRDB financial services outside banking offices are becoming more and more common and convenient. The bank also provides a round the clock support service to its cardholders. |
