Moscow, 25 December. The administration of orphanages No. 26 and No. 59 have sent a thank you note to the Russian Regional Development Bank for getting some Christmas presents for their children. The management of the Rehabilitation Center Adele also expressed their gratitude to RRDB and its main shareholder for taking part in a charity project aimed at rehabilitating children suffering from cerebral palsy.

As part of this joint action between RRDB and Adele, the Charity Fund of Assistance to Disabled Children with Cerebral Palsy, RRDB allocated funds to purchase Christmas presents for the children of the orphanages. RRDB also helped rehabilitation centers purchasing therapeutic suits for children diagnosed with cerebral palsy. RRDB support to Adele was approved and endorsed by the Bank’s main shareholder, the oil company Rosneft.

Tatyana Nechay, general director of the Rehabilitation Center, noted: “Thanks to this project, many of these children will be able to become full member of society. Rehabilitation courses are very costly and require specially trained staff and parents. This charity is the only way to support and help these children.”

Therapeutic suits were purchased by Adele for two Russian rehabilitation institutions: the St Petersburg Center of Social Rehabilitation for Disabled and Disabled Children and Vishenka, the Smolensk Regional Rehabilitation Center for Children and Teenagers with Disabilities.

Note

The Charity Fund Adele was founded to implement a social program developed by the rehabilitation center Adele and aimed at supporting children suffering from cerebral palsy. The program provides for social and educational support of disabled children in specialized centers, as well as teaching parents rehabilitation methods and techniques to be applied at home, and helping families buying medical, paramedical, and sports equipment necessary for their disabled children.
