RRDB expressed its condolences at the loss of Yu.A. Nozhikov

16 June, Moscow. The Russian Regional Development Bank has extended its condolences at the loss of the first governor of the Irkutsk Region, Yuriy Abramovich Nozhikov. The telegram from the RRDB president, Mr. G.M. Kurtser, was addressed to his family, friends and relatives, as well as the government of the Irkutsk Region.

As stated in the telegram, Yuriy Abramovich Nozhikov’s departure represents “an irreplaceable loss for all”. Mr. Nozhikov’s great personality has left a remarkable legacy. Mr. Nozhikov has gone down in history as the first governor of a strong Siberian Region in an era of cardinal social changes. Mr. Nozhikov’s balanced and wise position, his honesty and integrity earned him genuine respect from both ordinary people, residents of the region, and in the top echelons of power.

As a member of the Supervisory Board of the Bank, Yuriy Abramovich Nozhikov was behind RRDB foundation in 1996-1998. For many years Yuriy Abramovich Nozhikov has worked with an RRDB team. His experience and knowledge have played an important role in the successful development of the Bank.
